The Meaning of "True Success"
The Vorkell Group is dedicated to helping professionals
and professional services firms attain something we call "true
success." We believe that professionals and their firms achieve
true success when they strive for excellence across three dimensions: client service, work environment, and financial
prosperity.
Note that our definition of success embraces financial
achievement, but is not a synonym of it. What we consider success includes other accomplishments as well. For example, "true success"
also calls for
excellent client
service, and that in turn requires professionals to exhibit
three critical qualities: competence in their area of expertise, emotional
intelligence in dealing with others,
and high integrity. In addition,
"true"
professional success encompasses working in an environment that provides
occupational fulfillment and pride. Finally, our definition of "true success"
also involves leading a
balanced professional and personal life that is true to your own values and to the ideals of your profession.
Ultimately,
it all comes down to a very simple proposition: "Unless you are happy, you can't
really call yourself successful." Similarly, professional
services firms filled with unhappy people can't call themselves successful
either because widespread job dissatisfaction leads to higher turnover and
lower productivity.
The Vorkell Group helps professionals and their firms achieve “true success”
through a number of products and services, including organizational
consulting, individual coaching, surveys, seminars, retreats, books and
articles. For more information on how we can help you or your organization achieve “true success,”
